Fine-tune the flasher for any fishing scenario with the new FLX-38™BB and its VariMAX controls. These dials give the angler more options yet are less complicated to use and easier to manipulate with heavy winter gloves. VariMAX range control gives the angler push button power on/off, auto ranging, manual range in 1ft depth increments from 5 to 30ft and then down to 300ft allowing complete use of the screen no matter how deep. VariMax mode control will cycle between 15 frequencies, 7 power levels, and 5 color palettes. Vexilar completely redesigned the auto zoom function that has become an indispensable tool for anglers. Previously Auto Zoom was limited to pre-set zoom windows fixed to the bottom of the water column. With VariMAX mode control the zoom window size can be adjusted in 1ft increments from 6ft to 18ft, and the zoom window can be positioned anywhere in the water column. This feature is crucial for anglers chasing suspended fish like Crappies and Lake Trout. Nothing will escape the FLX-38.
